A special Valhalla edition of Assassin's Creed Ragnarok appeared for a while in the German branch of Amazon. This is another reason to believe that the next installment of Ubisoft's franchise will take us to the Viking age.
Recently, there have been regular rumors suggesting that the next instalment of Assassin's Creed will be set in the Viking age. The latest speculation has led to the discovery of an item called Assassin's Creed Ragnarok - Valhalla Edition in the German branch of Amazon. It was quickly removed, but the cat was out of the bag and the fans were able to make screenshots.
Of course, until the official reveal of the project, these rumors should be approached with caution, but we bet that they will be covered in reality. These types of Amazon accidents have long been a good source of leaks about unannounced projects and most of them turn out to be true.
Moreover, if it was a mistake, the shop would probably only have a basic version of the game. The fact that there is a special edition with a specific name suggests that such a product is actually in the pipeline, as it is hard to imagine that some little-known Amazon employee would make up the title of such an edition.
