Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Devs Have a Gameplay Problem, Leaker Reports

If new reports from Jeff Grubb are to be believed, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora does not live up to expectations in terms of gameplay, and it is for this reason that the game's release has been significantly delayed.

Disturbing rumors have surfaced online, suggesting that gameplay in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora leaves much to be desired.

  1. The source of the reports is the highly reputable journalist Jeff Grubb.
  2. According to his informants Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora reportedly looks lovely, but the developers have major problems with the gameplay.
  3. Not surprisingly, Ubisoft recently made the decision to significantly delay the game. Initially, the release was supposed to take place this year, but the publisher postponed it to the fiscal year 2023/24, the period from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024.

Ubisoft initially wanted to capitalize on the free marketing, provided by the release of the second installment of James Cameron's film saga, scheduled for December 16, 2022. The fact that the publisher abandoned this suggests that the game's problems are not to be trifled with.

If this is the case, the decision to greatly delay the debut of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is the right one, as the company is unlikely to feel like repeating the disappointing Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. It's better to give the developers more time to bring the project to the right level than to release the game prematurely and then spend years trying to salvage it.
