The second major patch for Baldur's Gate 3 is just around the corner. The update will bring performance improvements to the game and the desired epilogues for the main characters.
As promised, Larian Studios has provided a handful of details regarding the second major patch for Baldur's Gate III.
Two weeks ago Larian Studios assured that in the near future Baldur's Gate III will receive two major patches. The first was released on August 25, so I don't think anyone expected that the second of the promised updates would come out literally a few days later.
Nevertheless, all signs point to it. About an hour ago, Belgian developer's X/Twitter account featured a post informing that the the second patch is "just around the corner." We have not learned when exactly the patch will be released, but more information about it is expected to be known "soon."

The developers revealed only that in the first place, the patch will improve performance of Baldur's Gate III - it can be expected to be primarily concerned with the troublesome third act, taking place in the title city. In addition, the update is expected to bring numerous improvements and other changes, including epilogues for of the main characters (the so-called Origin Characters) who were in our party.
This last element in particular should delight the community, somewhat unhappy with the fact that the impact of our decisions on the fate of these heroes is not summarized like in other party-based RPGs. Thus, Larian Studios once again shows that it listens to the players.
