Best Oblivion Remastered mods worth installing. Fixes, upgrades, and tweaks that make the game way better

I didn’t believe it at first, but turns out the rumors were true. Oblivion Remastered dropped yesterday right after Bethesda livestream. And yes, the Deluxe Edition totally comes with the horse armor. Now everyone's holding out for a Fallout 3 remake, but I'm crossing my fingers for Morrowind (come on, Bethesda, make it happen!). Oh, and some official mod support for Oblivion would be nice too. But don’t worry, it hasn’t even been 24 hours since launch, and modders have already cranked out over 80 mods on Nexus. Here are the best of them.

Essential mods for Oblivion Remastered

Alright, let’s kick things off with the must-haves. These are the mods for Oblivion Remastered you’ll probably want to grab first:

1. Carry Weight Modifier – This might be the very first one you’ll want. Sure, you can tweak it with console commands, but this is just easier.
2. Achievement Unblocker – Super handy if you’ve been using commands that disable achievements.
3. Difficulty Slider Fixed – A common mod that smooths out damage multipliers scale when you change difficulty.
4. Better HUD – Another classic that changes the sizes and move around your health bars and icons.
