Fallout 3 will also get a remaster after TES 4: Oblivion, but it'll take longer
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is not the end. Bethesda wants to refresh another classic, and that may take some time.

Fallout 3 is supposed to be the next title from Bethesda to get a "remaster" after the release of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, although not anytime soon.
Such information may be amusing in the context that the release of the refreshed "fourth" TES hasn't yet been officially confirmed. However, at this point, its launch (allegedly imminent) seems practically certain. Nonetheless, the information that NateTheHate2 conveyed on X (via Insider Gaming) is not the first evidence of such project's existence.
In September 2023, documents related to the publishing plans of Bethesda Softworks leaked online. Although the documents might be outdated by now, the publisher was considering a few entries, including a quasi-medieval Doom, as well as remasters of Oblivion and Fallout 3.
This first remaster, if we believe the latest rumors, is supposed to hit the market as early as next week. Meanwhile, NateTheHate2 was supposed to find out that Fallout 3 Remastered is still in the works, but it won't be released soon, and it will be a while before it is shown to the world. Such news was conveyed by a well-known insider in response to the questions from internet users.
We could argue that refreshing this game would be a bigger event than the "remaster" of Oblivion. Fallout 3 was the first modern, three-dimensional installment of the series, which abandoned turn-based combat in favor of gameplay combining shooter with action RPG. Maybe a remaster of this title would modernize the series and set the stage for future installments?
For now, Fallout 76 will have to be enough. The game received a major update a month ago, featuring an element not available in any previous installment of the series.
