BlizzOnline Will Replace BlizzCon Next Year

Blizzard Entertainment has announced BlizzOnline, a virtual event to replace the BlizzCon.

BlizzCon is another game-related event that switches to online formula.

Because of the coronavirus, Blizzard Entertainment had to cancel BlizzCon 2020. Now, the developer announced that next year's edition of the event will take place online. The new event has been called BlizzOnline and will be held on February 19-20 2021.

We expect to see new materials from Overwatch 2 and Diablo IV at the event. Further development plans for World of Warcraft and Hearthstone are also likely to be revealed. However, the organizers do not intend to limit themselves to game presentations only. An important part of every BlizzCon has always been the competitions for the best cosplays and fanart. The same is to happen with BlizzOnline and on the official website those willing to present their talents can already register to participate.
