Buying Cyberpunk 2077 on XOne Will Get You Xbox Series X Version for Free

There's been a confirmation that Cyberpunk 2077 will hit Xbox Series X. The developers have revealed that owners of a copy of the game intended for Xbox One will receive a next-gen console version from Microsoft for free as soon as it is released. At this point, it is not clear whether the situation will be the same for PS5.

Last month we wrote about the possibility of Cyberpunk 2077 appearing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Today we received a confirmation that the game from CD Projekt Red will appear on the upcoming console from Microsoft. An entry in the official Twitter account shows that every owner of a copy for Xbox One will receive Xbox Series X version for free as soon as it is released (the exact date is not known). At this point it is not clear whether the same policy will apply to PlayStation 5.

It is worth mentioning that Cyberpunk 2077 is an SF action RPG. Originally, the title was to be released on April 16, this year. However, the release was delayed until September 17.
