Call of Duty Cold War Open Beta Launches

Fans looking forward to the next installment of Call of Duty will be able to spend this weekend with it thanks to the beta. From today it is open to all PS4 owners (as well as PC and XOne users who pre-ordered), with rest of the players following later.

Last week was certainly a very nice week for all PlayStation 4 owners waiting for the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War. From October 8 to 12, the first weekend of the game's beta was in progress - only two days later it was made available to all platform users. From now on, the game will also be open to PC and Xbox One owners who have pre-ordered the latest CoD, and from October 17, the beta will be open to everyone, without exceptions. The trial period will last until October 19. All details are provided on Cold War's official website.

The full version of the title will debut in a month, on November 13, 2020. In addition to the aforementioned platforms, it is also planned to launch on next-gen consoles, i.e. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. This will be the seventeenth major installment of Call of Duty.

His adventure with journalism began with a personal blog, the name of which is no longer worth quoting. Then he interpreted Iranian dramas and the Joker, writing for cinematography journal, which, sadly, no longer exists. His writing credentials include a degree in film studies, but his thesis was strictly devoted to video games. He has been writing for Gamepressure since March 2020, first writing a lot about movies, then in the newsroom, and eventually, he became a specialist in everything. He currently edits and writes articles and features. A long-time enthusiast of the most bizarre indie games and arthouse cinema. He idolizes surrealism and postmodernism. He appreciates the power of absurdity. Which is probably why he also tried soccer refereeing for 2 years (with so-so results). He tends to over-philosophize, so watch out.
