Call of Duty Modern Warfare Trailer Becomes a YouTube Hit

In four days since its debut, the trailer Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was watched by more than 25 million people. This number includes only the official YouTube channel of the popular FOS series.

Some time ago we wrote about the success of the Death Stranding trailer. It turns out that despite the impressive number of views achieved in few days, the latest teaser of Hideo Kojima's work was not the most mind stirring video game promo material of the last week. This title was awarded to the first trailer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which appeared last Thursday. Since then, more than 25 million people have watched it on the official YouTube channel of the popular FPS series.

The thumbs-up to thumbs-down ration for the trailer of the latest Infinity Ward studio production is 414,000 to 14,000. It seems, therefore, that the players liked the idea of returning to the well-known and popular franchise, as well as promises of a more serious approach to the topic of modern warfare, instead of trips into space. Yes, I am referring to you, first trailer of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. The latter still ranks among the top ten most disliked films on YouTube despite being more than three years old. Activision and the company are doing their best to prevent such situation from happening ever again.

Returning to the Modern Warfare franchise looks like a bulls-eye so far.

From other interesting things concerning Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, yesterday we learned that the music for the game will be composed by Sarah Schachner, whose songs we could hear in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. We're writing more about this here.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be released on PC (Battle.net), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 25 this year. The title will have a single player campaign, as well as a multiplayer, cross-play and ray tracing support. However, it will lack Zombie mode and season pass. Sounds intriguing? If so, remember that the pre-sale of the title has already started. More details about it can be found here.
