CoD: Modern Warfare Visual Comparison: PS4, Xbox One, Ray-tracing PC

Candyland released a video comparing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on Xbox One X, PlayStation 4 Pro and PC on ultra settings with ray-tracing.

CoD: Modern Warfare looks impressive on all three hardware platforms.

The emotions connected with the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, this year's installment of the highly-popular FPS series, still remain unchanged. If you are still considering whether to buy the game, you may be interested in a visual comparison prepared by Candyland.

The video shows the versions of CoD: Modern Warfare on PC, Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro. The PC edition runs at maximum detail level and has ray tracing enabled. The latter option provides clearly more beautiful shadows. In addition, the visuals on PS4 Pro are not so sharp. In general, however, the differences are small and the game looks impressive on all tested platforms.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was released on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 25, this year. The game was warmly received by the industry media. According to Metacritic, the version on PlayStation 4 has an average rating of 83%. The game was also liked by our editor, who gave her a 8.5/10.

Yesterday we learned that the title also turned out to be a big sales hit. A few days was all it took to make CoD: Modern Warfare the best-selling production released this year. The game also had the best debut in the history of the franchise on PC, and the revenues from the first 72 hours lose only to the results of Grand Theft Auto V and Read Redemption 2.
