Could Marvel and EA be Joining Forces? Insider Reveals Details (Rumor)
Fans of Iron Man and co. will probably be interested in new reports from the world of gaming. According to unconfirmed information, Electronic Arts is working on a new Marvel game.

Unlike the record-breaking popularity of movies, Marvel video games have had no luck so far. The house of ideas wanted to take advantage of the growing trend for superhero stories in the gaming field, but the great hope that was Marvel's Avengers, turned out to be a flop. The game's failure caused a domino effect, because immediately afterwards an unnamed MMO project from the world of the well-known heroes got cancelled (we wrote about it here). Even the decent Guardians of the Galaxy failed to realize its full potential.
There is hope yet
Fortunately, this may now change with upcoming games such as Spider-Man 2, Wolverine or even the intriguing Midnight Suns. So there is a chance that disappointed players will finally get what they hope for. According to the latest rumors another mysterious work can be added to the extensive list of upcoming games.
Interesting reports
All thanks to the XboxEra podcast, which was attended by a well-known industry insider Shpeshal Nick. In the aforementioned conversation the leaker touched on the subject of alleged work of Electronic Arts on a Marvel game (01:33:00 - in the video).
Unfortunately, despite the fact that Nick is in possession of more information, at this point he could only reveal the fact of the work being created. It should be remembered that no one besides the leaker has spoken about the work on the mysterious EA project, so it is worth not taking these reports for granted.

However, to pour a little hope into the hearts of the players, let us remind you at the very end that a few days ago we wrote about the fact that Electronic Arts may present some of its upcoming titles in July.
