Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has received a new update. The patch focuses primarily on the battle royale mode called Danger Zone, to which a desert Sirocco map with several buildings - including an Arab fortress - was added. In addition, the mode has been enriched with a marking and respawn system, "borrowed" from Apex Legends. Also, new items and minor improvements were implemented. For those who do not intend to play Danger Zone, the most important update will be the fix of a recent bug that allowed fraudsters to turn on cheats "for" other players in the lobby what ended in detection by the security system and immediate ban.

Valve has no intention of stopping at these novelties and will soon release more items to the Danger Zone, including a ballistic shield and perks. Let's recall that the battle royale mode has arrived in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in December last year, and with it the title went to a free-to-play model - which caused a sudden increase in the number of cheaters and bans.
