Cyberpunk 2077's Apparent Dildo Problem Will be Remedied

CD Projekt RED addressed the issue of the surprisingly large number of artificial penises in Cyberpunk 2077. The devs prepared corrections and explained what was the reason for this situation.

Cyberpunk 2077 has been released with a lot of bugs and shortcomings. Most of them are just annoying, but there are also some elements that can make you laugh. This second category includes the surprisingly common presence of various kinds of dildos in Night City. The devs are already working on the updates in this regard.

Everyone who played a little bit of Cyberpunk 2077 has probably noticed a variety of dildos that are falling from almost everywhere. In the game, we can find two basic variants of this toy - a standard one and a much more impressive model called Pilomancer 3000. This is partly because the devs wanted to show the decadence of the society of the future. The problem is that the toys appear not only in sex clubs, apartments, or other places where their presence would be more or less natural. These objects are also found scattered on the streets, in normal bars, or in places that modify bodies.

As developers explain, the reason for this is that dildos belong to the category of objects spawned as random loot that players may find in the game world. Especially in the version made available before the release, it was set in such a way that many reviewers were amused to notice it, as they came across erotic gadgets with surprising regularity.

The first updates have already improved the situation, but it is possible that more will be needed. The devs' goal is for dildos to appear only in places where their presence would make sense from the narrative point.

Hotfix 1.04 appeared two days after the game's release. Another patch is to launch this week.
