Daniel Vavra calls for bombarding Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 with positive reviews on Metacritic.

The head of Warhorse studio is following the example of last year's hit developers and remains extremely active on X. The Czech pays attention to a lot of information, facts, and comments about Kingdom Come 2.

However, apart from this, Vavra also refers to reviews of KCD 2, not only those written by journalists. The CEO of Warhorse Studios also mocked the extremely negative reviews from Metacritic users. We are talking about scores of 1/10 or even 0/10, which Czech assigns to the "bots" used by "AWW" ("Anti Woke Warriors," a term coined by Vavra himself in response to another critical post), people who have reservations about the cult of diversity in the sequel.

It's no secret that user reviews on Metacritic can be, let's put it mildly, specific and not entirely well justified. It's also hard to argue that a rating of 1/10 (not to mention 0/10) should be given to any game that has functional graphics and gameplay (which doesn't necessarily mean "good" or even "poor"). Like awarding a 10/10 without much reasoning and a lack of enthusiasm evident in the text.

Nonetheless, the call from the head of the development studio to respond to these "negative reviews" with a flood of positive ones seems somewhat unserious. At least in the form presented by Vavra's post, because encouraging to leave reviews "if you liked the game" probably cannot be considered reprehensible.

In any case, some KCD 2 buyers seem to have listened to the Czech, because since the publication of Vavra's post on Metacritic, over 200 user reviews have been added, and their average rating has increased from 7.9/10 to 8.8/10. By the way, Vavra recently ventured to criticize this platform in general. In his opinion, OpenCritic is a much better place to present reviews.
