Jeff Ross, one of the directors of Days Gone, boasted on Twitter that he joined Crystal Dynamics. It is worth recalling that yesterday the team announced that they are working on the next installment of the Tomb Raider series.
Yesterday during the State of Unreal show we learned that Crystal Dynamics, the studio responsible for Avengers, the Legacy of Kain series and the first two installments of the rebooted Tomb Raider series - works on the next part of Lara Croft's adventures, which is to run on Unreal Engine 5. It is possible that one of the people responsible for this title will be Jeff Ross.
You may know Jeff Ross primarily from his work at Bend, where he was an employee since the mid-90s. Ross was one of the two directors (along with John Garvin) of Days Gone, an open-world game starring a bike and zombies, which was initially released in April 2019 exclusively on the PlayStation 4 console (and two years later on PC as well). Ross left Bend in December 2020.
His move to Crystal Dynamics was boasted on Twitter by the developers. Here is what we can read in his announcement.

Moreover, Ross has published a list of job openings for various positions at Crystal Dynamics. If you are interested in joining the team and, of course, you have the right qualifications, it is worth taking a look.
Finally, we would like to remind that Crystal Dynamics is currently working not only on the new Tomb Raider. It is also helping The Initiative with the reboot of Perfect Dark, which is a series of FPS games from Rare. So far, however, it is not known when this title will debut on the market.
