After nine years today, the wait for the release of Dead Island 2 will finally come to an end. The game is collecting good reviews and boasts an impressive damage system.
In a few hours, we will see the debut of Dead Island 2, the first-person action game we've been waiting nine years for (the first incarnation of the project was announced in 2014.)
Dead Island 2 is collecting good reviews. On OpenCritic the game has an average rating of 75%. The game was also appreciated by our editor, who gave it a rating of 7.0/10.
The warm reception of the game is a great success, as its road to the hands of players was extremely bumpy.
One of the coolest elements of the game is the extensive damage system, where we can literally cut zombies to pieces. The models of the undead have skin, muscles, bones and internal organs, and each of these elements can be damaged. IGN has just released an interesting video, in which the developers tell how the system was created, and show what it can do.
Finally, it is worth quoting the system requirements of the PC version of the game.
