Dead Island 2's New Gameplay Trailer Has Impressive Bodycount

As they promised, so they did. Deep Silver has released a video showing the bloody gameplay from Dead Island 2.

As recently announced, a special show was held yesterday, i.e. December 6, during which Deep Silver Dambuster Studios presented a gameplay from Dead Island 2. It's true that the game won't be released until next April, but apparently the developers decided that after the many disappointments they've wrought on fans, they needed to placate them a bit.

The following footage - traditionally for Dead Island - focuses on all-out carnage, spiced with a pinch of humor. A lot of emphasis was also placed on different types of techniques for killing zombies. Players will be able to crush, slice, kick and set them on fire - in short: do everything that fans loved the previous installment of the series for. Anyway, see for yourself.

Recall that Dead Island 2 did not have an easy life. Just to remind you, since 2014, when it was officially announced, it has been abandoned at least a few times and, like those zombies, came back to life. Meanwhile, it looks like Deep Silver's work is already on the final stretch before release, which will hopefully not be postponed again.

Dead Island 2 will debut on April 28, 2023. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
