Dead Island 2's New Gameplay Brutal Like Mortal Kombat

An extensive gameplay recording from Dead Island 2 has appeared online, showcasing various aspects of combat - from incredibly brutal finishers to weapons and enemies.

With a little over a month and a half left before the release of Dead Island 2, developers from Deep Silver have presented another gameplay video.

More than fourteen minutes of footage show a fragment of gameplay, which takes place a few hours after the start of the adventure. We observe the action from the eyes of Dani, one of the six playable characters - this particular heroine is supposed to be characterized by exceptional agility.

Massacre in Los Angeles

The trailer abounds in combat scenes, during which we are explained subsequent mechanics: hand-to-hand combat, gunfire and what Riggers like best, namely bloody slaughter with melee weapons, which, thanks to the FLESH system, responsible for "crippling" zombies in general, should be more than satisfying.

In addition, we got a brief introduction of, among other things, some types of zombies, special skills, as well as the crafting system.

In the presented fragment, the player's main task is to reach an evacuation center in Los Angeles. The developers promise that we will see many iconic locations from the City of Angels on the game's map.

Dead Island 2 will debut on April 21, this year. The game will be available on PC, PS5, PS4, XSX/S and XOne.
