The developers of Total War: Warhammer III have talked about their development plans for the game, both for the next DLC and beyond.
More than two years have passed since the release of Total War: Warhammer III. The game continues to be developed and remains highly popular (yesterday's peak activity on Steam reached 26,000 simultaneous players). It's no wonder that the Creative Assembly studio responsible for the project has ambitious plans for the future of this title, which they presented in a new video.
The devs want to shape the future of Total War: Warhammer III based on player suggestions. This is more than just empty talk, as it was the act of listening to the fan community that, for instance, resulted in the division of the Thrones of Decay expansion into three parts, enabling us to buy only the elements that we are interested in. In the future, we can expect similar solutions, providing players with greater freedom of choice when purchasing additional content.
The next expansion will center on the Ogres, followers of the Chaos god Khorne, and the Greenskins, a topic that was also discussed in the material.
The expansion still requires a lot of work, so the developers are currently aiming for a release at the end of this year.

The people from Creative Assembly also discussed the vision for the game's development after the next expansion. The devs revealed that future plans include expanding the Norsca faction, Vampires, and followers of the Chaos God Slaanesh.
In the future, the devs would also like to strengthen the Lizardmen faction and incorporate the concept of the geomantic web into the game. This web is a vast matrix of the earth's natural energy that spans the entire Warhammer world.
We remind you that Total War: Warhammer III was released in February 2022 on PC. The game's release was very disappointing, and the community later resented the developers for many solutions. Recently, however, the project has been performing much better. While only 67% of all reviews on Steam since its debut are positive, when considering only those from the last 30 days, 92% of them praise the title from Creative Assembly studio. The current approach of the team to development seems to be working and we hope that this good run will continue.
