Blizzard has revealed details and a launch date for the Diablo x Berserk crossover. The company has chosen a very telling day for the release of the new content.
Blizzard shared more information related to the Diablo x Berserk crossover, an event that will combine the dark world of Sanctuary with the brutal universe created by Kentaro Miura. The event will start on May 6th, marking the day on which the mangaka of the iconic mangaka has passed away, a date choice that couldn't be more symbolic.
The company also decided to continue the black-and-white animation that we saw in the previous teaser. This time there is even more action, and characters other than the barbarian appear on the screen. Each of them wears armor and wields weapons that reference characters from manga. Nonetheless, a barbarian in Guts' armor and a rogue in Griffith's "Falcon of Light" armor fighting side by side against demons is a peculiar combination for fans.
"Become the Black Swordsman" - this is the slogan promoting the event that brings iconic elements related to Berserk to Diablo IV. Players will be able to earn and purchase many cosmetic items inspired by characters from the manga. Here's what the crossover will include:
Behelits - mysterious and grotesque artifacts known from the manga, dropped by elite demons. They can be exchanged in a special "Berserk Reliquary" for:
This also includes the "Warhorse of the Hawk Bundle," which is a set for mounts:
As part of the event, Blizzard will also launch the "Support a Streamer" campaign, through which you will be able to win a unique Skull Behelit Mount Trophy. Details of the event will appear in the coming days.
