Techland Admits Dying Light 2 was Announced Too Soon

The devs of Dying Light 2, which has been in development for a long time, will give us a handful of new information on Wednesday. Why did we have to wait so long for it? According to Techland, the game was announced too early.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Techland reassures worried fans and denies reports of problems with Dying Light 2's development;
  2. The devs also reveal that the title will not be canceled and will not appear in early access.

This Wednesday, we will learn new information about Dying Light 2, which went of the radar for a long time. Techland didn't show any new footage from the game, so users began to wonder if the project has serious development issues.

According to the official comments that appeared under the announcement of Wednesday's event, Dying Light 2 was revealed too early and that's why we haven't had any new information for such a long time. Work on the game is progressing, so fans need not worry.

Subsequent comments in the discussion denied the information that the game will be canceled or will come out in early access on PC. However, user concern did not come from nowhere. Some time ago, an extensive article appeared online about the problems at Techland, portraying the senior staff in a bad light and Dying Light 2 as a game whose development is not going as we would like it to.

The studio has denied most of the information from the article, reassuring that despite some problems, one of most anticipated games of the year is doing well. We'll be able to verify the employees' statements on Wednesday, when we'll get to hear more information about Dying Light 2. We might finally know the release date and any plans to release the title on PS5 and Xbox X Series.
