The second annual Triple-i indie game showcase featured world premiere trailers and updates for existing titles. Here's a list of all 30+ announcements.
Today, was the Triple-i initiative showcase, a 45-minute presentation featuring 36 upcoming indie games and updates to existing indie titles. The group was put together by some of the biggest names in indie games, including the developers behind Slay the Spire, Risk of Rain 2, Vampire Survivors, V Rising, and more. This is a showcase organized by indie developers to showcase other indie games. The name “Triple-i” is a play on the unofficial term “Triple-A” to represent big-budget, traditionally published games. Essentially if something is Triple-i, it is the biggest and best that indie has to offer.
There was a huge array of different games featured and announced today. If you want to watch the full presentation, I recommend it. The showcase itself is nothing but games. There are no pauses to listen to someone talk, be it the developers, publishers, or hosts, it just goes from game to game. Remember to wishlist a game if it looks interesting. It’s an easy and free way to support these independent developers. Below is a list of everything announced during the showcase.
Note: the showcase is only the first hour of this video, which is followed by a few more hours of deep dives.
Check out the Triple-i initiative Steam page to find all of these games, add them to your wishlist, and play some of them now. A few games also shared some more in-depth gameplay with the developers following the showcase, this included Void/Breakers, Into the Fire, Ikuma: The Frozen Compass, Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core and Survivor, Vampire Survivors, Over the Hill, and Morbid Metal. if any of those games caught your attention. Check out the Triple-i initiative YouTube channel for all the trailers and more.
