God Of War: Ragnarok Could be One of Surprises at PlayStation Showcase 2021

Next week will be marked by PlayStation Showcase, where, according to leaks, we will see previews of highly anticipated titles, including God of War.

PlayStation Showcase will be held on September 9. The date is near, so the community started to speculate what will appear at the showcase. In the announcement of the event Sony wrote that we can expect new news about upcoming games, but did not provide any titles. Insiders have been fueling gamers' musings by suggesting that we'll get to see, among other things, God Of War: Ragnarok at the presentation.

The person who planted hope for the new part of Kratos' adventures appearing on the presentation is Shpeshal_Nick, a games journalist and co-founder of Xbox Era, who repeatedly proved that he knows more than what is officially announced. Thanks to him we learned the information about the new expansion for Ghost of Tsushima, or about what may appear on State of Play. This time Shpeshal_Nick asked one of the insiders about the issue of God of War's appearance at the show. The answer he received leaves no doubt.

Of course, the tweet sparked an avalanche of questions about other titles that may appear at the PlayStation Showcase, but for now Nick can't reveal anything more. Although looking at the answers to some of the questions, we can expect new information if he can get more details.

Another person giving gamers hope for something special is Andy Robinson, a journalist from VGC, who tweeted, in response to one of the news stories about the PlayStation Showcase, that he'd heard about some "super announcements" that are supposed to take place during the showcase.

As we know, the release of the latest installment of God of War has been delayed to 2022Mainly due to the fact that Sony wants to properly refine the production. The game was to be released this year, so it's probably high time to show the players something more than just a trailer. PlayStation Showcase seems to be the perfect opportunity to do this.
