GoW Ragnarok Expects Big Launch Update; Looks Great on PS4 Pro

Along with tomorrow's release of the latest installment of God of War, Santa Monica Studio will provide players with an update to Ragnarok that is to include a number of fixes. We also know how the game will perform on last-gen consoles.

The appearance of God of War Ragnarok on store shelves does not at all mean that the developers are resting on their laurels. On the contrary - developers from Santa Monica Studio will have their hands full fixing any bugs from the game that escaped them at the testing stage. One of the fixes is already ready and will be available for download with the game's launch.

The release update will introduce a lot of changes and fixes in almost all aspects. The developers have focused on eliminating all sorts of bugs - starting with dialogue-related inconveniences, and finishing with general improvements to the game's performance and stability.

The patch consists of more than 180 fixes. It is worth noting at the same time that the developers warn that the patch notes (which you can find at this link) include all sorts of spoilers related to the plot or characters, so they recommend that players do not go too deep into them.

Recall that God of War Ragnarok will debut tomorrow, i.e. November 9. Sony's exclusive will land on both the PlayStation 5 and its older sisters: PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro.

While we're on the subject of consoles, it's worth mentioning that specialists from the youtube channel ElAnalistaDeBits have decided to compare the overall appearance of the new GoW on Sony's older and current-gen hardware. Analyzing the footage below, one can come to the conclusion that Ragnarok will fully exploit the potential - however it may sound - of the PS4. There is nothing to be ashamed of especially, in the case of the Pro version. Anyway, see for yourself (via ggmania).
