In this guide we will tell you how to capture and attack neutral ships. With us, your wealth will quickly increase.

Every day thousands of players try to survive in the world of Cosmoteer. Many times this is linked to combat. On this page we will tell you how to capture and attack neutral ships.

Remember that Cosmoteer is an early access game, so the information provided here may become outdated over time.

How to attack neutral ships?

From time to time you will come across an opportunity to attack that you can't pass up. Then it is worth knowing how to assault a neutral ship. To do this you simply have to press the T button and give your ship the command to attack.

However, it is worth remembering that you will then receive Wanted status for a while and enemy ships will attack you. Be ready for this. In addition, an attack on a neutral ship will be associated with a decrease in reputation with the faction to which it belonged.

The easiest (and cheapest) way to increase your fleet is to take over an enemy ship. To do this, however, you must disable it beforehand. The most effective way to do this is to destroy all command centres - Cockpit / Control Room / Bridge. This will cause the ship to automatically surrender.

Alternatively, you can also obliterate all of the enemy ship's guns and thrusters, but in doing so, there is a huge chance that you will also destroy the vessel in the process.

If the ship is already empty, all you have to do is send your crew to it. You can find out more about it here: Cosmoteer - crew management and transfer. Remember, however, that you will not be able to do this if the ship has an inoperable Hatch.
