Here's First Non-gaming Product From Razer

Razer decided to create something appropriate to the situation in the world. The company's first non-gaming product is a vending machine with disposable masks.

Razer decided to help the people of Singapore.

If you thought Razer only creates gaming products, you would be correct, until recently. The company decided to create vending machines with disposable masks. They can be used by Singaporeans.

The company have launched a campaign marked with the #RAZERFORLIFE hashtag. The aim of the action is to deploy 20 automatic machines with masks throughout Singapore. The installation of the machines is to end before June 1 this year. Everyone who is at least 16 years old will be able to pick up a free mask. The company informed that about 5 million masks will be issued through the machines.

"As part of our efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic and encourage the public to practice hygiene and safety, Razer Fintech and other sponsors will make one free #RazerForLife surgical mask available to every adult in Singapore (16 years of age and above). We estimate that up to 5 million masks will be distributed as part of this project.

[...] Thanks to a simple verification in our Razer Pay application, all eligible participants will be able to pick up their surgical mask in #RazerForLife machines conveniently located throughout Singapore."

Razer Pay will be used to collect the masks.

The steps to pick up the free mask are as follows:

  1. Download Razer Pay from Google Play or App Store;
  2. Verify your identity by taking a photo of your ID card;
  3. Receive a coupon;
  4. Scan the generated QR code on the machine.

As we mentioned before, the service is available only to Singaporeans.
