Players Review Hogwarts Legacy; Enthusiasm Exceeds Expectations
The first players have rated Hogwarts Legacy on Steam and Metacritic. Their reviews are thoroughly positive. In addition, streams from the game are extremely popular on Twitch.
Hogwarts Legacy has finally made its official debut on Steam. Thus, users of Valve's platform - both hundreds of thousands who have been playing since February 7, as well as those just starting out - were given the opportunity to review the game.
In just over two hours, there were more than 12 thousand reviews. As many as 95% of them are positive.
Thus Hogwarts Legacy achieved a better score on Steam than on Metacritic.com - and with a much higher number of reviews. Average user ratings on the latter for individual versions of Avalanche Software's latest work are presented as follows:
Overall, then, gamers agree on the quality of Hogwarts Legacy. As for the game as such, basically everything is praised - from the beautiful depiction of the world known from the Harry Potter books and movies to the enjoyable and fun combat system.
Nevertheless, one can also come across negative reviews. A small part of players who began their adventure with Hogwarts Legacy on Tuesday, complain, for example, about the inconsistency of the story, pointing out plotholes. However, such people are relatively few.

In addition criticism has been leveled primarily at the game's performance - especially on PC. It seems, however, that this problem does not apply to all hardware configurations, although even on PCs equipped with a graphics card of the likes of GeForce RTX 3070, minor clipping reportedly occurs.
Nevertheless, Hogwarts Legacy on Steam is being played by crowds. As I write these words, the title is running on the accounts of more than 670 thousand users (a better result - about 972 thousand - went only to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive). Slightly fewer - although still a lot - about 501 thousand people, watch broadcasts from the game on Twitch.
