Horizon Forbidden West With Vast Gameplay Customization

Guerrilla Games revealed the ways we can customize gameplay in Horizon Forbidden West. We'll be able to decide on the level of inflicted and received damage or components dropping from defeated machines.

Eight days before the release of Horizon Forbidden West Guerrilla Games revealed how the players will be able to customize the gameplay. The developer believes that the addition of these options is welcomed by fans and what's more - it will enable the game to reach a wider audience. What exactly are we talking about?

If you are curious about whether Horizon Forbidden West will live up to the expectations of the fans, I refer you to the announcement of Darius Matusiak, who liked what he had a chance to see recently.

Gameplay customization options in Horizon Forbidden West

  • Custom difficulty level will enable us to customize the damage received and inflicted by Aloy. Thanks to that, no fight should be too difficult.
  • Easy loot system will save us from having to destroy individual parts of machines to get specific components. By selecting the appropriate option - which is automatically activated on the story and medium difficulty levels - we can be sure that all the loot will end up in our hands.
  • The co-pilot system enables a second person to take control of the game. The condition will be a separate controller.
  • Aloy's Shieldwing, a kind of energy parachute, will open automatically if the protagonist starts falling from a great height.
  • We will also be able to adjust camera shake, motion blur, the size of the displayed subtitles and much more.

Let's hope that its members will appreciate the implemented solutions. As a reminder - Horizon Forbidden West will debut on February 18 on PlayStation 4 and 5.
