The Outlast Trials Closed Beta Underway; Here's How to Join
The Outlast Trials is an upcoming survival horror game from Red Barrels. Closed beta-testing of the game has begun, and you can sign up for them on Steam. Here's how to do it.
October 28 marked the launch of closed beta tests of The Outlast Trials - survival horror game by studio Red Barrels. The game is part of the Outlast series launched in 2013. The tests are not as closed as the name might suggest - the developers want as many people as possible to take part in them.
- To be able to check out The Outlast Trials, you need to request access to the game on Steam, by clicking on the appropriate button.
- Testing will last until November 1 - after which time it remains to await the game's release. It is expected to be released in 2023.
What is worth knowing about The Outlast Trials before checking it out? There are five points that deserve attention.
- The game offers a single-player campaign, which can also be played in a maximum 4-player cooperative mode.
- Regardless of whether we intend to play alone or with friends, we need a permanent Internet connection.
- As befits a closed beta, the game is not short of bugs of various kinds. At this page you will learn how to deal with some of them. Others should be reported on the game's Discord channel.
