If you are looking for a good game, Kingdome Come Deliverance 2 is for you. Our reviewer is charmed by this title. Moreover, our tech review shows that KCD2 is in a good technical condition. While there are some issues like unintuitive change of audio language or some problems with controllers and errors, it is still a good launch. However, there are features which can be improved like HDR support or ultrawide FOV. Let’s talk about the latter here.

How to make ultrawide FOV in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 better

While Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 supports widescreens, many players are not enthusiastic about ultrawide implementation. More precisely because of lack of proper FOV (field of view) support. It makes the game zoomed. However, fans have found a workaround to this issue.

  1. Open Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 console. It seems that players have to press different keys to activate it, try: `/~ or ^
  2. Next typecl_fov XX (without quotation marks) in the place of XX write the number you like. First try with something between 80-90.

Keep in mind that it is not a fix, but a workaround which makes the view more passable. Let’s hope that developers or modders will solve this issue soon.

If you still want to play after knowing that ultrawide is not perfect in the game, you can check out our Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 guide. There are interactive maps of Trosky / Kuttenberg and other interesting information. We highly recommend reading it, as you progress further into the game.
