Naughty Dog studio showed us a snippet of the so-called Lost Levels - levels that will be part of The Last of Us: Part 2 Remastered. In the PS5 version of the game we will come, among other things, to pretend to be a clicker, one of the biggest threats to the characters.
In exactly ten days, the remastered version of The Last of Us: Part II will be released. After the announcement of this refresh, many fans were quite critical, but this did not discourage the developers. As we know, one of the new elements of Naughty Dog's game will be so-called Lost Levels - levels (or sequences) accompanied by developer commentary that were cut from the original. One of them was presented in a short video. One must admit, it looks... quite interesting.
The video shows Ellie playing "pretend clicker" with some children. At a certain point, the protagonist herself "becomes" the monster and, using hearing - these monsters have this sense heightened, but they are blind - she must track down her "victims".
Many fans of The Last of Us were surprised when Sony announced a remaster of the game, which is only a little over three years old. A large group of players believes that the Japanese giant aims for another money grab, as it demands additional 10 dollars for an upgrade from the PS4 to PS5 version.
A few days ago, Naughty Dog explained how exactly to install this paid update.
In addition to the cut levels discussed above The Last of Us: Part II remaster will offer, among others: improved graphics and a roguelike mode called No Return. Please note that in addition to the update, you will be able to purchase a separate edition of The Last of Us: Part II Remastered. In this case, however, you need to pay around $50.
The remastered version of the game will be released on January 19 - exclusively on PlayStation 5.
