iPhone 12 Without EarPods? Analyst on Lack of Earphones
There has been some speculation on the equipment of the new iPhone. It is possible that Apple's new product will be sold without EarPods.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says the new iPhone 12 may not include EarPods . This move by the company is designed to help promote their other product, AirPods.
Kuo believes that Apple is planning a huge promotion of its AirPods wireless headphones during the winter Holidays. This includes possible discounts on the product. However, the whole thing is supposed to apply to already released models - newer solutions are to appear not earlier than in 2021.
Due to the worldwide pandemic, many companies have seen their sales fall. Apple, which intends to make up for the losses with this special offer, has also suffered some losses. Winter holiday season is a perfect moment for this.
It is also said that a company plans to create separate sets with phone and AirPods. The price of such a package would of course be lower than when buying each of the devices separately. Currently, the prices of Apple AirPods 2 fluctuate around $150.
