Issues with Matchmaking in Battlefield 6. Developers are aware of this BF6 problem
BF6 seems to have a rough start. Various problems seem to pop up all the time. One of them is with matchmaking issues.
Hundreds of thousands of people were waiting for Battlefield 6 Early Access. Developers were definitely not prepared for that. However, it seems that the problem with a long queue is at least partially fixed. There are others, though, which successfully stop players from taking part in the test. Some fans experience crashes; others can’t enter modes. Even if you are among those who do not experience any of the above, you still can have matchmaking issues.
Matchmaking issues in Battlefield 6 (BF6)
It seems that so many people have reported matchmaking issues that developers have noticed. Some time ago they have announced that they are aware of “Playlist lock issue” The bug prevents players from taking matchmaking after one match. The current solution presented by developers is far from ideal. They recommend restarting the game client… You know what that means? Yes, waiting in the queue.
The good news is that developers are working on a permanent solution. However, we did not get the estimated time of its arrival. So, all we can do is wait. Let’s remember that it is Early Access. I know that many players think of it as a chance to try the game before making the decision to buy it or not, but we need to remember that Beta versions and Early Access were created to test the product before 1.0 release. It seems that this Battlefield 6 test is in the same spirit.
Moreover, let’s remember that this Beta will last 4 days (2 days of Early Access and 2 days of Open Beta), so we have some more time to enjoy BF6. Hopefully, all of the most serious issues will be fixed before the last day. If not, let’s remember that there is also a second chance in a couple of weeks. The game should be more polished then.
