Reports of locked modes and not working EA Play Pro in Battlefield 6 Early Access. BF6 Beta issues continue
It seems that some people, even despite being accepted to BF6 Early Access, can’t join any mode except Training Range or can’t use their EA Play Pro pass.
Battlefield 6 has not the best start. It can’t be denied that developers have not prepared for the number of players taking part in Early Access. While efforts are being made to mitigate the issue with the long queue, there are other, more complicated ones. Some fans report various technical problems, including crashes or black screens. However, even if you do not experience any of that, it seems that you might be sill locked out of participating in the game due to not working modes or EA Play Pro.
Not working modes in Battlefield 6
Update: It was confirmed that there are some issues with access to Early Access.
After starting BF6 (and the queue) we are welcomed by a menu where we can choose the mode. Sadly, there are players who can’t do anything on this screen. Some fans claim that they can only use the Training Range. At first glance, it looks like those who report it do not have Early Access code. Remember that right now, only people with the code can play. The Open beta starts on Saturday for all players.
However, at least some of people with this issue claim that they are entitled to take part in Early Access and this is puzzling. We should not reject the possibility that there might be some kind of problem with proper authorization after all. Some EA Play Pro users, who according to Battlefield 6 FAQ should be able to join the game right now, can’t play either.
It can’t be denied that BF6 has some game-breaking issues. For example, some time ago on the official Discord server, developers have announced that they are aware of “Playlist Lock Issue,” which makes matchmaking unavailable. Not working modes / EA Play Pro can be one (or technically two) of them.
With so many players, I would not be surprised that various issues will be found and (hopefully) fixed during the whole length of Early Access. Good luck.
