Bannerlord Modding Now Easier Thanks to Steam Workshop

Shortly before the release of the full version of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, the game received several patches. Of particular interest seems to be the support for Steam Workshop, which will make it easier for players to run mods.

After nearly three years of early access Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is getting closer to full release. But before that happens, the developers at TaleWorlds are working up a sweat to put a complete product into our hands. The latest patch introduces to the game what players have been asking for for a very long time - Steam Workshop support (via PC Gamer).

This means that lovers of Bannerlord will no longer have to download mods from external websites such as, for example, Nexus Mods; now being able to do it very easily through Steam. Thus, players will avoid the need to use the mod manager. Admittedly, the Workshop may be a bit poor in mods at first, but surely modders will quickly stock it with their creations.

Of course, these are not the only improvements TaleWorlds has added to the game recently. AI improvements, new terrains, improved optimization or the recently mentioned banners are just some of the many elements that were introduced before the release of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord (a detailed list of changes can be found here).

Finally, let us remind you that the full version of the game will debut already on October 25. The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
