Netflix Releases Interactive Map of The Witcher Universe

Netflix released an interactive world map of The Witcher series. It is accompanied by a timeline on which we can find chronologically arranged events relevant to the plot of the series. Also, Jaskier's birthday.

He's the best character in the show. Fight me.

Netflix has shared an interactive map of The Witcher's universe on Twitter (you can find it at this address). Thanks to it and the timeline featured at the bottom of the news we can place the most important events that took place in the series. Let us recall that the show has been repeatedly criticized for the decision to lead the story in three separate timelines, those of Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer. The map seems to be an ideal solution for viewers who have not read Andrzej Sapkowski's stories or have simply got lost while watching the show.

From the interactive website you will learn about such delicacies as the dates of the slaughter in Blaviken or the marriage of Queen Calanthe. It also features the most important event of both The Witcher and the show, namely... Jaskier's birthday. Jaskier is 6 years younger than the Queen of Cintra. You can expand each of the events marked on the timeline and learn more about it. The map is quite a compendium of knowledge and should appeal to both veterans of Sapkowski's prose and novices introduced to the universe by Geralt's latest adventure. In addition, it is a perfect supplement to the graphic released a few days ago, presenting the timeline of each of the series' three main characters.

The Witcher from Netflix debuted on the platform on December 20 2019. The production received mixed reviews (although it won the hearts of the audience) and significantly contributed to a record increase in interest in the game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. And now, honestly, how many things on the map did you not know?
