New Video From The Outer Worlds Presents Over an Hour of Gameplay

Giant Bomb published an over an hour of gameplay footage from The Outer Worlds. The video presents the first steps of the character on the planet Halcyon, as well as some of the residents of the corporate colony.

Players counting down the days to the release of The Outer Worlds had no reason to complain since September. In recent weeks we have received several more videos from the upcoming production. Among them was the material showing the first 20 minutes of the game. If that's not enough for you, Giant Bomb has published more than an hour of gameplay from Obsidian's upcoming title. A video, commented by Leonard Boyarski and Nitai Poddar from Obsidian Entertainment can be watched below.

The video once again shows the character creation system and the first moments in the hostile world ruled by powerful corporations. By the way, we get to know other NPCs, including a guard who probably watched Terminator too often. The creators also emphasized that they wanted to encourage players to interact with the NPCs as often as possible. Therefore, hardly anyone will come to us to do some task for them - we will learn about them only through conversation. This in turn will not only allow us to enjoy humorous dialogues, but will also bring us closer to thestory background in an accessible way. Apart from that, we see a bit of combat, exploration, silly dialogue lines, etc. We'll check it all ourselves after the game's release. The Outer Worlds will debut on October 25 on PC (Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store), PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.

Machine uprising? I've heard that one before...
