Next-gen Interface Now Available on Xbox Consoles

The new interface of Xbox is now available on all devices. The official store has also been refreshed and works much better.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. The new version of the Xbox interface has been made available to all users.
  2. The console's menu and store work more smoothly.

Microsoft has released the new system and store interface for all users of the Xbox One family consoles. The unified design was made available to testers in August and after two months anyone can use it. The new version will also be available on Xbox Series S and X.

The new system menu, according to the engineers from Redmond, works more smoothly, and thanks to the rebuilt tab of recently launched apps, it allows for trouble-free navigation. System themes have also been added.

As a result, the store offers more convenience and smooth operation. Users are primarily happy with the option to disable auto playback of videos, thanks to which the lag appearing when browsing game cards has been significantly reduced.

Microsoft also boasts that new users will find it easier to customize console's system settings and personalize menus, which is very important in view of the upcoming release of Xbox Series S|X.
