No Man's Sky Outlaws - How to Form Squadrons?
The new update for No Man's Sky enables players to create their own squadron of space pilots. Thanks to it you will be able to deal with any threat.
A week ago, No Man's Sky's new update, called Outlaws, has made space a much more dangerous place.
All because of the pirates who have taken over the interstellar routes and prey on unwary travelers. Even space stations and entire planetary systems have fallen under their control.
You can of course cooperate with the dangerous bandits, but if you do not like brushing against the law, you should be ready for a tough fight. In this battle you will be helped by another newly introduced mechanic.
Your own squadron
Thanks to the new update, you no longer have to traverse space alone. In the course of the game you will be able to create squadrons of ships that will support you in battle.
Squadron members will be able to accompany you on your travels. In addition, the AI will try to adapt to your style of play, making the squadron seem like a really tight-knit team.
Additional pilots will be available at your request. You can even travel through space alone and only summon help in case of an emergency. The AI pilots will not interfere with your peaceful solo exploration.
How do I create a squadron?
The formation of a squadron is really simple. All you have to do is talk to one of the pilots present on the station or at a trading post.
- There is a new dialogue option in the game, which enables you to recruit an NPC of your choice to join your team.
- You can recruit almost any NPC with a spaceship, including pilots with the best machines.
- To be able to create a squadron, however, you must have a Freighter, which enable you to manage your team.
- On the bridge of this type of ship there is a console, thanks to which you can unlock slots for new pilots (you can hire up to four mercenaries).
- Each slot costs a corresponding amount of money - the first 800 Nanites, and the last 10 thousand.
- Nanites can also be used to increase the rank of your pilots.
After fulfilling the requirements and spending a lot of Nanites, you can assemble your squadron and set off on a journey through the dangerous regions of space.
