Successful Old-school RPG Solasta Gets Co-op Mode and Big DLC

RPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister finally enables us to play together with friends in co-op mode. Players also received a new expansion and a handful of free improvements.

Warmly welcomed RPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister, which refers to such greats of the genre as Divinity: Original Sin or Baldur's Gate, received a story expansion called Lost Valley. The DLC can already be purchased on Steam and GOG.com, although even without it you can expect a lot of goodies prepared by devs at Tactical Adventures. Some of the attractions are presented in the trailer below.

Free update

The release of the DLC is accompanied by an update, which itself introduced a lot of new features. The most important of them is the online co-op mode for 2-4 players. You can play with friends in both official and fan-made campaigns.

What's more, all single-player save files are compatible with co-op and vice versa, and DLC content is available even to members of the session who do not have it in their collection - it just needs to be purchased by the game's host.

In addition, the update adds a handful of other new features, including mages finally being able to incant spells aloud, additional Dungeon Maker features, and various improvements. A number of bugs has been removed as well.

Lost Valley and deal on Steam

The main attraction of the DLC is a non-linear story campaign, in which we try to escape from a valley hiding forgotten secrets, offering four new environments and enemies (including golems and giants), and the adventure can reach several different endings which encourages us to play through the expansion multiple times.

  1. Lost Valley is also new subclasses for each of the nine character classes. Among them you will find, among others, a sorcerer attracting evil spirits and the court mage (detailed information about them can be found on the official Solasta forum).
  2. It is worth mentioning that basic version of Solasty and the set with all DLC is currently available at a huge discount on Steam. You can take advantage of the offer until April 21.
