Player Analyzes Diablo 4 Leak

In recent days, not only GTA 6 has faced a leak. Also content related to Diablo 4 has hit the web. Players wasted no time and almost immediately began to analyze what was visible on the leaked materials. As you can guess, there was a lot of information.

Diablo 4 leak analysis

A player by the handle Angzt published his thoughts on what could be seen in the leaks. Below you will find the most important points that the player brought out, and you can read the full version of the post here.

Cities and craftsmen

1. Each city will offer different services, which will be shown on the map - these are traders of weapons, armor, jewelry, scrolls, potions, as well as a supplier of unique items (a character along the lines of Kadala from Diablo 3). In addition, the stables, a blacksmith and an alchemist will also be available.
2. Goods at merchants will most likely change. A message "Delivery of new goods for xx:xx" was visible next to each of them, which counted down 60 minutes.
3. The unique item supplier enables you to spend so-called murmuring obols, for which you will get random items for the equipment slot. This time you will be able to choose the type of weapon you want to get. Murmuring obols will be obtainable in events taking place in the Sanctuary.
4. The stables enable you to customize mounts and purchase new ones. However, this will only be possible after the campaign.
5. At the blacksmith's we will forge weapons and armor. For this we will need the right materials and gold. In addition, we will repair weapons there and recover materials.
6. The Alchemist is also to have several functions: it will enable us to strengthen potions, create potions and incense and craft materials, which will be possible for a fee.
7. There is also an Occultist, who will take care of extracting legendary power from a legendary item, crystallizing it into an essence and destroying the item. We will "implant" this essence into another legendary item, replacing the power that was present in it. We will also be able to store the essence and use it at a later time

Character progression

1. In the video, the Barbarian's skill tree was visible. It featured larger orange nodes, which were connected to each other. Attached to the orange dots were other icons, which are most likely skills. Each of them improved to a maximum of level 5. There were also smaller, round icons on the tree, which we will develop three times - these are most likely passives.
2. In the character window there is an "Expertise" tab. It shows the levels of mastery of specific weapons. It is very possible that this window is unique to the Barbarian.
3. Another element is the so-called "Lost Caches", which can be found throughout the Sanctuary. Finding them will permanently strengthen the character's stats.

World and tasks

1. Each of the areas we explore will receive its own completion table. There are six icons on it - each icon signifies a different activity done in the area.
2. You will need a "Scroll of Town Portal" to teleport to any point on the map. Fast travel between the marked points will be free.
3. The areas have a designated lowest recommended level.
4. The materials showed fragments of the plot related to Lorath Nahr, the search for "the secret of immortality to defeat Elias" and Mephisto.

Combat system

1. The combat is reminiscent of early levels of Diablo 3. Attacks generating and using resources and skills with cooldowns of up to a minute were visible.
2. Potions work differently than in previous games. They partially heal instantly, while the remaining effect is stretched out over time.
3. Two skills are shown - Upheaval and Call of the Ancients.
4. Opponents drop so-called "Health Globes", which correspond to one healing potion and automatically replenish its level.

Items and stats

1. The Barbarian's equipment has 12 slots, four of which are for weapons. The inventory has tabs that segregate items into categories: Equipment, Consumables, Quest and Essences, as well as a separate Materials button.
2. Several new affixes appeared, although there is no shortage of those known from previous installments of Diablo. Skill bonuses have also returned.
3. The frequency of item drops seems to be lower than in D2 or D3. Moreover, the loot that the Barbarian gained did not necessarily match his class.

It is worth remembering that these are descriptions of what was visible in the early version of the game. What we will get in the final release of the product may differ significantly or remain unchanged. Nevertheless, we will find this out the soonest at the launch of the closed beta.
