First Dark Gameplay Trailer From Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened Remake
The developers of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened Remake have shown a gameplay video and mechanics that will appear in the upcoming detective adventure in the latest trailer.
The remake of the 2006 game about the adventures of the famous detective, entangled in paranormal events inspired by the works of H.P Lovecraft, will debut in February 2023. Creators of Sherlock Holmes: Awakened have unveiled a new trailer, showing more of the dark world and the first gameplay footage.
Despite the still ongoing war, the Ukrainian studio Frogwares continues to work on the anticipated mystery adventure game. This is proven by the first gameplay trailer presented yesterday.
It shows new mechanics, including lockpicking, neural linking of clues and chronological setting of crime simulations. In addition, we see new psychedelic sequences of moving through a dark and ruined world, where we can feel the presence of paranormal forces and the influence of the protagonist's madness on the reality we find.
Subsequent cutscenes match the previous ones with captivating graphics and skillful play of light and shadow that enhance the brutal events.
The full potential of Sherlock Holemes: Awakened will be revealed in February next year, when the title will hit PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
