Silent Hill 2 Remake System Requirements Revealed

The system requirements of Silent Hill 2 Remake for PC have appeared on Steam. They are not very high.

Shortly after the announcement of the Silent Hill 2 remake, Steam published a product card for the game. Interestingly enough, it includes the game's system requirements for PC. This is a bit surprising, since it would seem that the title's release is (very) far away. Or maybe not as far as we think?

Either way, the specs given are not too high and should not "scare" our computers. Anyway, see for yourself.

Silent Hill 2 Remake PC - minimum system requirements(30 fps and low or medium settings in 1080p)

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 3 3300X
  • Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1080 / AMD Radeon RX 5700 with 8 GB of VRAM.
  • Memory: 12 GB RAM
  • Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit version
  • DirectX: 12 version
  • Disk space: 50 GB (HDD/SSD)

Silent Hill 2 Remake PC - recommended system requirements (60 fps and medium settings in 1080p or 30 fps and high settings in 1080p/4K with DLSS)

  • Processor: Intel Core i7-8700K / AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
  • Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 with 8GB of VRAM / AMD Radeon 6800XT with 16GB of VRAM.
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit version
  • DirectX: 12 version
  • Disk space: 50 GB (HDD/SSD)
