Cyberpunk 2077 is experiencing a real renaissance. Less than a month ago, CD Projekt Red boastedthat sales of the title exceeded 20 million copies. Now, however, new statistics have been provided regarding the daily number of players. They show that for the past four weeks, each day a million people played the production.

One must admit that this result is impressive, especially if we look at the age of the production. After all, in December Cyberpunk 2077 will have already turned two years old.

There is no denying that the popularity of the title is largely related to the success of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The anime won the hearts of viewers around the world and has become one of the most watched productions on Netflix. The game hit elements inspired by the series, both official and fan-made, for example, a certain moderator prepared "preset" of the face of Lucy, one of the heroines of the series.

It is also worth bearing in mind that nothing heralds the popularity of Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to wane. A feature DLC will be released next year Phantom Liberty, which is sure to encourage a sizable portion of players to return to the production once again.

Cyberpunk 2077 debuted on December 10, 2020 has PC and PS4 and Xbox One consoles. The premiere was accompanied by huge controversy due to the poor technical state of the game. In time, however, the developers managed to fix most of the ills, and CD Projekt Red's efforts have borne fruit and players are still eager to get their hands on the title.
