Bloober Team has released a new gameplay of the game for Cronos: The New Dawn, which takes players to the sinister Sector A-0 - a place where reality defies all rules.
Bloober Team has published another material from Cronos: The New Dawn - an upcoming science fiction game with a strong psychological twist. The latest gameplay focuses on exploring Sector A-0 - a mysterious, deformed location where the laws of physics no longer apply.
The video is full of intense moments that grab your attention with its dark atmosphere, mechanics, and visually striking elements. At the beginning of the material, the main character, known as the Traveler, ends up in a dark, surreal world where gravity seems to work completely randomly. The surroundings behave unpredictably: objects float in the air, building structures are twisted, and the geometry of space changes before the player's eyes. What was the floor a moment ago suddenly becomes the ceiling.
Later in the video, the Traveler ends up in a ruined hospital through a crack in reality, a place that, surprisingly, is not completely abandoned. Deformed creatures lurk in the corridors, reacting to every careless move of the player. Despite the terrifying aura, traces of past life can be found inside the building, which only intensifies the sense of unease.
As the Director of the game, Jacek Zieba, admitted some time ago, one of the foundations of the visual and narrative layer of Cronos: The New Dawn was inspired by the German Netflix series Dark. And it shows - the world in the game is filled with a dense atmosphere of mystery, horror, and melancholy.
The gameplay video on YouTube quickly filled up with comments full of admiration. Players are once again pointing out the similarities to the Dead Space and Resident Evil series, but there are also comparisons to Rerutnal. There are also people who would like to know the release date.
Cronos: The New Dawn is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The launch is scheduled for the fall of this year.
