Iconic Trailer of Star Wars The Old Republic Remastered by BioWare

BioWare has remastered the Deceived trailer, the iconic first CG trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Next month Star Wars: The Old Republic will celebrate the 10th birthday. In preparation for this event, BioWare has released a remastered version of the iconic first trailer for this MMORPG.

Deceived was made available for the first time on June 1st, 2009. The trailer was prepared by Blur, a company which specializes in CG videos. The new, remastered version of the trailer offers 4K resolution and looks great.

What's important, Deceived is not the end. BioWare intends to refresh all CG trailers that advertised Star Wars: The Old Republic along with its DLCs. So we can expect remastered versions of Hope, Return, Sacrifice and Betrayed trailers.

BioWare's decision brings us joy. These trailers are true masterpieces, which can be watched with pleasure even if you don't plan to play Star Wars: The Old Republic. Many of them were released long before Disney took over the rights to Star Wars and even then there was no shortage of voices saying that these videos are better than the prequel trilogy.

The game was released in December 2011 and remains available exclusively on PC. Next month a large addition titled Legacy of the Sith is to launch, but there's even more to come. Yesterday we informed that BioWare has plans to develop Star Wars: The Old Republic for a long time.
