Starfield is a great success, gathering hundreds of thousands of players. It is the biggest title of Bethesda Game Studios so far, an ambitious project. Taking into consideration the scale, it is quite bug-free, but not completely. There are some various more or less grave technical issues. Many players for example are wondering about blue line on their screen which appears from time to time or a line at the bottom of the screen. We will tell you about it.

Starfield – blue line bug

If you see from time to time a blue line on your screen it is not a bug (probably). Do you have Sarah in your party? If the answer is yes, the mystery is solved. She has a blue laser sight. When she runs, it is possible that it will obstruct your FOV.

Starfierld – line at the bottom of the screen

While the above is not a bug, if you see a flickering line at the bottom of the screen, it is probably a glitch. However, you can easily fix it by:

  1. Disable SLI (Scalable Link Interface) – many players reported that it helped them, to do so you need to disable this feature in Nvidia Control Panel.
  2. Turn off V-sync – it is another, and less invasive on your computer, method of dealing with the problem. Players report that it also works, so we suggest starting with this one. To disable this feature, go to the Display section of Starfield menu.
