Steam has Grown Again; Two More All-time Records
Valve executives have reasons to celebrate. It turns out that Steam is gaining popularity. This, in turn, translates into subsequent records.

Although Steam has often been a source of controversy of various kinds during its existence, overall Valve's creation is one of the most beloved video game platforms in the world. Not only that, the service is becoming increasingly popular among gamers, and this is evidenced by the recent records.
The Twitter account of SteamDB published information that yesterday, i.e. on January 7, the platform - or rather, its users - broke as many as two records. According to the stats provided, more than 10 million players played on Steam concurrently (10,080,827 to be exact). Meanwhile, overall, at the hottest moment more than 32 million people spent time on the platform at the same time (32,186,301).. Interestingly, the previous record was set relatively recently, in October. At that time, around 30 million gamers were visiting Steam at the same time.

The above figures are undoubtedly very impressive and clearly show what a giant in the digital distribution industry Steam is. If the trend of the platform's growing popularity continues, more records are only a matter of time.
