The year 2023 is expected to bring the coveted release of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Interestingly, the new project by GSC will finally introduce fair sex to the Zone. The memorable discovery was made by one of the Internet users on the game's latest trailer.
Over the course of hundreds of years, mankind has experienced many historical moments that have influenced the lives of subsequent generations. The invention of print, first steam engine, landing on the Moon - these are just some of the events that have made a lasting mark on the history of the world. This very honorable group may soon be joined by... the introduction of women to STALKER 2.
Forgive the slightly sarcastic tone, but the discovery made by an Internet user has aroused the Reddit community centered around the iconic series no less than that accompanying any of the aforementioned historical breakthroughs. For it turns out that the latest gameplay trailer of STALKER 2 shows a glimpse of a character that, in all likelihood, is a woman.. Below you can see a frame from the fragment, which is the source of all the commotion.
To those who are unfamiliar with GSC's series, this may seem a little shocking, but the old-timers know very well that in any of the previous installments of the series we wouldn't find any representatives of the fair sex.. Perhaps this was dictated by the lack of time and funds needed for modeling characters and animating them or hiring additional dubbing actors - or simply by the vision of the game world that the developers originally had.
Interestingly, the information about the probable presence of females in the game did not please everyone. Under the post on Reddit, a heated discussion (and maybe even a small war) immediately arose between men and women on the subject of gender equality.
Finally, let me remind you that STALKER 2 is scheduled to debut in 2023 on PC and Xbox Series X/S consoles, as well as in Game Pass.
