Terra Invicta - How To Build and Rename Habs

Are you starting your adventure with Terra Invicta? Here you will learn how to build habs and how to rename them.

Terra Invicta is a strategy game from Pasovian Interactive, a studio best known for its mods for the XCOM series. The game has recently been in early access on Steam. Below you will find information on how to build habitats (or habs) and how to rename them.

How to build habs?

To build habs you have to zoom out in such a way that you can see the entire galaxy. Then you must select the orbit of a specific planet. Then a button will appear at the bottom of the screen that enables you to build your own outpost.

Of course, you have influence on the shape of your habs. This is because you can expand it with new modules (in total, the developers have prepared 84 of them). The most important of these is the one providing electricity. Without it, the whole structure will not function. Therefore, you must place it at the very beginning.

How to rename habs?

The game provides for the possibility of changing the name of your habs. To do this, you must enter the outpost panel, using the button at the top of the screen. Then, in the list, find the facility you want to rename and click "manage". A pen icon will then appear next to the name - click on it to edit.

Terra Invicta debuted in early access on September 26, 2022. The game represents the grand strategy game genre. During the game we play the role of the commander of one of the Earth's factions and try to cope with the alien invasion. The title was met with a warm reception - 86% of reviews on Steam are positive.
